eTapestry.com Enters Strategic Alliance with MIP

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - eTapestry.com, an Internet-based donor management and fundraising systems software company, has formed a strategic alliance with Micro Information Products, Inc. (MIP) of Austin, Texas. MIP is the creator of the PC-based NonProfit Series and Advantage NonProfit Series fund accounting software for nonprofit organizations, municipalities and government agencies.

eTapestry.com has developed a link to MIP's fund accounting system, allowing their clients to utilize MIP software to export donations and pledge information from eTapestry.com directly into their accounting systems. This will allow clients the ability to download gift information directly from eTapestry.com into MIP's accounting software.

MIP's fund accounting software packages track, manage and report on funds from multiple sources, budget periods or fiscal years. Features include pre-formatted audit- ready reports, tabular chart of accounts, and budget monitoring. MIP's integration with eTapestry.com software to import information, will allow the user to create data entries in a general ledger and reduce the need to duplicate data entry.

Jay B. Love, Founder and CEO of eTapestry.com said, "The partnership between eTapestry.com and MIP will allow nonprofits and associations multiple features and user- friendly software, which in turn will allow them to strengthen the ability to fulfill their organization's mission."

eTapestry.com is the first fundraising applications service provider (ASP), a company that rents its software to customers and delivers it on the Internet. As such, eTapestry.com is less expensive and more versatile than traditional fundraising software applications. It is used by nonprofit organizations of all types and sizes.
